Mrs. Blogger and I were fortunate to have been invited to a pizza tasting at Paulie Gee’s house this past Saturday (July 25th) to sample the wares from the wood-fired brick pizza oven he built in his backyard. Seven of us, Paulie, his wife Mary Ann, my friend Wally from Brooklyn, Brownie from Blondie & Brownie and her husband Lawman, Mrs. Blogger and I were served nine pizzas in all and Mary Ann made a great salad to go along with the bounty of pizzas. Along with Paulie’s home made limoncello, multiple bottles of Gragnano and dessert from Brownie, it was a midsummer’s night to remember.
I just got a pocket video camcorder and this is the first time I have made a video, so I hope it in some way conveys what a fantastic evening this was. To read more about the evening as well as see some more video clips from the evening, check out my post here.

Great vid, try vimeo.com for better quality PB.
looks yummy!
I have been to a Paulie Pizza Tasting, and I can say, it’s all it’s cracked up to be, and more.
The best pizza we have ever eaten!
Mr. Blogger
i’m vacationing in Ocean City MD- and i’m wondering where is the best slice here in OC? I hear Tony’s- I know the old Lombardis is gone….and i’ve read this whole page and not one Ledo’s mention? Please advise on pizza by the sea please.
Try Mancini’s brick oven pizza on Fenwick Island.
Beach Blogger, it has been three years since I have been in Ocean City, so please let us all know of your pizza experiences there! I am going “downy ocean” soon to try out pizza, so lemme know some places to check out. Sorry I can’t help you in OC right now
