According to their website, Pizzeria Orso is set to open this upcoming Tuesday, June 8, in Falls Church Virginia.
I have previously mentioned Pizzeria Orso in more detail here, but a quick look at the menu shows a lot of available pizza options:
Simple Pizze: Six selections ranging from $7 to $12 in price
Traditional Pizze: Ten selections ranging from [...]
I have a hunch this place will be different from some of the newer pizzerias which have opened in the area over the past couple of years in that the owner, Rich Pugh, is a bona fide pizza enthusiast. Pugh been making pizzas at home for some time and has put in the leg work researching technique and ingredients. He also realizes that while his pizzas are heavily influenced by Neapolitan pies, his pizzas are not truly Neapolitan….so he has opted to call them [...]
Italian Graffiti has been open for about five or six weeks now in the pizza crowded Fells Point area of Baltimore where Brick Oven Pizza, Little Italy Pizzeria and Hot Tomatoes also ply their pizza trades just a couple of blocks away.

I eagerly await this film festival, particularly opening night, for many months in advance. This has become an annual tradition which includes family members and friends of the family driving up from Washington DC and Annapolis. Make sure to patronize one of the restaurants in Little Italy when you come. To add to the European feel this event has, you can order take out and eat it in your chair while you wait for the movie to begin. In addition, you might want to stroll over to the bocce court and watch a game. A final Pizzablogger tip for first timers…..bring a bottle of wine and some plastic cups with you to enjoy as you watch the movie! Pizza eaters might want to order a pizza from Isabella’s Brick Oven Pizza, which sits on the corner of High and Stiles [...]
