Looking back at the three pizzas I tried today, the cornicione (lip) was more pronounced at Pasta Mista than at either Vito’s or Fortunato Brothers, which some cite as having the most authentic NY style pizza in Baltimore. The bread inside the lip of the crust leaned slightly towards the gummy side and and could have used more of the wonderfully random shaped aureoles that lend a nice textural counterpart to any high quality New York style [...]
