What’s on top of the pie is lacking too. The sauce to cheese ratio is on the money, but the sauce lacks meaningful flavor and has none of the vibrancy and freshness of good sauce. I’m guessing the slight, unnatural sweetness is from a little sugar being added to the sauce. The cheese is neither poor or good. It’s just kind of there. Each time I have ordered two slices and not finished the first. This pizza is better than delivery pizza, but it is a below average slice of NY Style pizza not worth going out of the way for.

The mistake here would be lowering the price of pizza to more closely reflect the quality of the product being served or to cut a larger portion to justify the higher price of a slice. Slicecapades! v1.0

A couple of days before the 4th of July, the initial Slicecapades! journey cast off from Baltimore. In the end, Fourth of July related traffic would snarl my adventure and put the kabash on several planned stops. I’m upset with missing out on these stops and wanted tasting fatigue to be the deciding factor on when the day would end, but I did the best I could given the wretched stop-and-go traffic I had to muck through.
